New Content Form

Please use this form if you want to have a COMPLETELY NEW article on the website. Please use other forms for updates to existing articles or for new Guest Reviews.
  • Where would you like to put the new article?
  • Titles MUST be more than 45 characters and less than 72 characters, that's spaces included!
  • The Meta Description is what people see in the search results after typing in one or more keywords in the search engine. It should be concise (MAX 165 characters spaces included) and enticing (so people would click the link and continue reading)!
  • Those are the keywords of the article. There should be NO MORE THAN SIX keywords, separated by commas. So, share the most important ones. I'd suggest to always include 'South Africa' as a minimum, even 'Verloren Vlei' or 'Draaihoek' if appropriate.
  • Accepted file types: txt.
This is where you'll upload your article. The article MUST be just a text file (.txt), hence will have no formatting (bold, italic, bullets, etc.) at all.
  • Accepted file types: jpg.
This is the picture at the top left of the article. This image should be landscape, and no wider than 250 pixels (px). The picture MUST be a .jpg and the file name should end with -draaihoek-west-coast.jpg if appropriate of course. (See manual for details on file names and how to resize.)
  • The caption is the text that goes with the title. It should be descriptive, yet not too long. (E.g. Picture of ancient wall paintings in Draaihoek, South Africa.) Do try, if appropriate, to include the 'Draaihoek, South Africa' at the end.
  • Accepted file types: jpg.
This is to upload a picture that should go within the article. Articles of around 300 words MUST have a second picture to keep the reader's attention and break the monotony. This picture MUST be a .jpg, and can be maximum 800 pixels (px) in width. The file name should end with -draaihoek-west-coast.jpg if appropriate of course. (See manual for details on file names and how to resize.)
